The card is valid for 12 months from the issuing date. You will need to renew after 12 months if you are still a student.

You will need the following:

• Passport style photo (front facing head and shoulders)
• Applicant over 16 years of age – scan or photograph of the applicant’s identity card (ID card or passport)
• Applicant under the age of 16 – scan or photograph of the applicant’s identity card (ID card, passport, insurance card or birth certificate) and his/her legal representative’s identity card (ID card or passport)
• Confirmation of student status (less than 2 months old)

Customers with correctly ordered virtual ISIC/IYTC/ITIC cards will receive a confirmation email immediately with the order details. ISIC will process and approve the application within 24hrs (during business days), or contact the applicant via email if further information is required.

Once the virtual card application has been approved the customer will receive another email providing them with the serial number. This number can then be used to access the virtual card via the ISIC App.

It is the responsibility of the card applicant to download the app and sign up for an account, through which they can access their virtual card.
